Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Jesse Arledge Carter would be the grandfather of Sidney Green Carter (as is listed on the 1880 census and a few family trees on Ancestry), who I believe is Major Green Carter. He is buried at the Barnesville cemetery. Most of the Carters buried there are in some way related to Jesse Arledge Carter, and I am trying to confirm that Major Green and his wife were buried there due to a relation, as they weren't even living in Marion County prior to their deaths.
