Interested in info on Jane James or Jones who married Elijah Husbands 17 Oct. 1822 in Marengo Co. Jane may have been a Cherokee Woman. They had Elizabeth b 1823, Bibb Co. AL and James B. b 1831. Elijah was possibly the son of William Husbands who received land in Green Co. as a Rev. soldier. (Fought in NC) Can anyone verify Elijah's parents or provide info on Jane's family? Thank you.
