Poellnitz and info about many associated Marengo County families can be found in "Little Acorns from the Mighty Oak" by Henry Poellnitz Johnston.

You won't want to miss this book if you are looking for Poellnitz info for SC and Marengo County, AL.

Many libraries have a copy, including Auburn Univeristy as listed below:
