I almost responded to your earlier posting. I knew Caroline Jane Lucy had never married Abernathy and that her first husband was Rev. John Collier.
An excellent source on these families is "Children, Meet Your Ancestors", written by Genevieve Broome Jones, privately published in West Point, GA, in 1976. The book has extensive coverage of the Lucy and Blakeney families.
The reference to being in Christian Co., KY, is new to me. My records indicate Caroline Lucy McPhail stated her birthplace as being in SC in the 1850 U.S. Census taken in Clarke Co., MS (p. 165B). So it appears which location is correct is questionable.
