Collins, Granade, Grimes, Johnson, Waters, 1700s, early 1800s
Hello,
I am interested in any information on William WATERS who married Margaret JOHNSON/Johnston [see will of Collinson JOHNSON below].Would appreciate hearing from anyone with information on what family William WATERS belongs to, as well as Collinson JOHNSON’s ancestors.
Below are various records I have gathered from Jones Co., NC, Warren Co., GA, and Marengo Co., AL.
I believe Stacy B. WATERS who was b. in GA abt 1791, moved to Marengo Co., AL, married Lucy GRIMES, dau. of Allen GRIMES [native of NC - see Jones Co., NC, wills below], is connected to Collinson WATERS and would like to find more on these various families - COLLINS, JOHNSON, GRIMES, WATERS.
Thanks,
Barb
