1840 Census

I am researching the Fair, Johnson and Peterson families of Marengo County before 1850. In looking for the 1840 US census of Marengo County I find only one page on Ancestry (well actually 2 pages, but only one with names), and wonder if that is all of the 1840 census for Marengo County that exists. Does anyone know for sure if that is all the census that exists for that year, or does it happen to be all that Ancestry could copy? Any guidance would be appreciated.
