Searching for information about MEREDITH HALL who was in the 1830 Marengo Co., AL census with UNKNOWN wife and many children. He remarried in Marengo Co. in 1835 to OBEDIENCE GARDNER. By the 1840 census they were in Calhoun Co., AL. Quite likely they left behind in Marengo Co. several of the children from his first marriage. HARDY, WADE, and GRIFFETH were families into which some of his daughters married. Is there anyone out there who might have information about this family? I would appreciate any leads. Thanks.
