Walter Nunnelee and Caroline Gresham

are my great-great grandparents. They are supposed to be shown on the 1840 Coosa Co census (probably under some other spelling of Nunnelee). If anyone has access to this census, I would sure appreciate the census info from their listing.
2g-g/f Walter died before 1850 (probably in Coosa Co) - how would I try and locate will, probate and/or land records there?
2g-g/m is shown as a widow 1850, 1860 Macon Co census with chn: James, John N., William, Cornelia, Mary, and Eugene Lavarsha. By 1870,
2g-g/m Caroline, Cornelia and Eugene were in Tx. What happened to James, John N., William, and Mary?
I would love to find info on any other Nunnelee's from Coosa, Macon, or Lee counties 1830-1880 - spelling doesn't matter because it is never spelled right!!!
Thanks, Kathye kupham@neto.com
