Cotton Valley, Macon County, AL

W. A. Kennedy with wife Terressa is listed in the 1880 Macon Co Alabama Census. This area, Cotton Valley, is at or near the intersection of Alabama 15 and 45. Does anyone know of cemeteries in the area? Can anyone tell me about the area? I understand that if there was a town or village here it no longer exists. I can find the Kennedys in the 1855 census in Macon County and in 1870 but not the 1860. Before the war he was well to do. His wife was the daughter of Dozier Thornton.
