Can anyone straighten out the apparent 2 Alexander Browns with a daughter named Harriet?

My Alexander A. Brown was born 1795 in Scotland and was in Macon Co. Al in the 1830's and 1840's. He remarried ( at age 50) in 1845 in Macon Co. to Catherine Ruth Sikes. They lived in 1850 & a couple of years afterwards in Tuscaloosa CO. Al then came back to Macon Co. abt 1854 where a son was born ( according to the son's Al. death certificate).

There is a marriage certificate on file in Macon Co. of a Harriet Brown marrying William L. Robinson in 1855 at the home of her father Alexander Brown.

I think Harriet Brown is his child by a first marriage.

There is another researcher who says Harriet is the son of an Alexander Brown b. abt 1808?

His Harriet was born in 1841. If she married William L. Robinson she would have been only 14.That doesn't seem likely but possible.

I am wondering if this researcher could place her Alexander Brown in Macon Co in 1855?

My Alexander Brown had brothers: Archibald M. Brown, John William Brown, and sisters, Jane, Sarah, & Jennet Brown Hamilton.

Any help appreciated. Thank you, Mae
