There was a "Patterson Plantation" in Macon County and could have been your Thompson Place.

It appears the land passed from Patterson to Smith to Thompson to John Stephen Hamilton who sold it to B. M. and W. M. Carr in 1915.

Known as "land sold to W. P. and C. W. Thompson by C. R. Smith.

Township 16 Range 22 East, parts of sections 20 & 29.

Do you have Hamiltons or Pattersons in your line?

Mae Hamilton Ambrose
