I am interested in any Britton family living in Macon Co., AL 1840 and prior. Of special interest is Thomas W. Britton B: ca 1820 who married Martha Susan Smith B: ca 1826 Thomas and Martha married in Macon County 10 October 1849. I Know that Thomas was married to Nancy Grace of Macon Co., AL 21 April 1842 and that Nancy died prior to 1849 when Thomas married Martha Smith. I descend from this line and would like to discover who Thomas W. Britton's parents were. Any information would be helpful and I would be most grateful.
