Correction:
John Moon bn 1791 served In War of 1812 not Rev War.
He Received 77 acres for that service, Same property in 1850 census and 1860 census
The 1850 census lists his only his children with his oldest son John as head of household. John Moon 1791 and Mary E Moon are still In Huston Co,Ga disposing of property.
Same children listed on 1860 census with John and Mary E Moon. Oldest son in seperate household. You would have to compare both census and families near by to determine they are the same family. Even tho 1850 looks like Moore I am certain it is Moon.Due to childrens names.
