Thanks for the information but on the index for the census it says Moore. They may have made a mistake but on the census itself it looks like Moore. But I now have found a 1900 census in Arkansas showing that my Joseph was born in 1856. Where on the 1920 and 1930 they show him as being born in 1849. So I still do not know if this is my Joseph or not,Sandra
