JOHN CLARK TOMLIN

My ggrandfather,John Clark Tomlin, married by ggrandmother,Roxie Catherine Jackson, in Montgomery County, Alabama in 1879. They were censused in Montgomery County in 1880. It shows John Clark Tomlin and his mother were born in Georgia and his father in North Carolina.

My grandfather, Roy Laitten Tomlin, was born in 1881. John Clark Tomlin died when Roy Laitten Tomlin was a small boy.
His mother remarried James R. Conner in Macon County, Alabama in 1888 in the home of her father Isaac Francis Jackson.

I do not know when they moved to Macon County. Perhaps my
grandfather was born there and my ggrandfather,John Clark Tomlin died there and is buried there. Around 1890 or shortly afterward my ggrandmother and all her family moved to Texas.

My grandfather, Roy Laitten Tomlin, died from burns as a result of an oil refinery explosion in 1920. My father was only 13 at the time. On his death certificate it indicates his father, John Clark Tomlin, was born in Minton, Georgia.

I have tried for 25 years to find what Tomlin family John Clark Tomlin is a part of.

Appreciate any help.
