Searching for any information on Carter Jackson, b. July 2, 1780 in Virginia. He is listed in the Southern Division of Macon Co., AL 1860 Census. Listed as 80 years of age, b. Virginia, a farmer, real estate value of 3300 and personal estate value of 5800. Below his name on the census is listed Olive ___??? age 59 and Wm Strickland age 24. I believe Carter Jackson to be the father of William McBride Jackson and to be my ggggrandfather. In Virginia he was married to Dolly Westbrook. Searching for cemetery he may be buried in, date of death, and any information such as land deeds, will, etc. Thanks, Jerrie Oldmedic@aol.com
