He married MATILDA ANN ADAMS November 27, 1845 in Macon County, Alabama2, daughter of LEWIS ADAMS and JANE THACHER. She was born August 09, 1821 in South Carolina3, and died August 28, 1902 in Chichasha Co, Oklahoma, buried in Collin's County, Texas.
