Phillip M. Burt married my 2g-aunt Cornelia [Nunnelee]1867. Cornelia was the dtr of Walter Nunnelee & Caroline Gresham who DIVORCED 31 Jan 1852 Chambers Co Al. Their other chn were James m Susan Baggett, Annie, William, John N, Mary, Eugene Lavarsha (my g-g/f). Per 1840 Coosa Co census they had 2 sons + 1 dtr. This Phillip Burt was the son of Billup Burt & Lucinda Bullock. Phillip's CSA appl #01247 was filed 01 Aug 1899 while living at Crisp, Ellis Co Tx. Philip's brother Goode Wm Burt died in Palo Pinto Co Tx after 1914 (per CSA appl #27722)
Are Cherokee, Harris, Hill, Robertson, Smith,
Ellis, Palo Pinto counties Tx connections.
Phillip & Cornelia had a daughter Eva b abt 1868 in Tx (no other info); a son Phillip born Feb 1870 Hill Co Tx who may have died before the 1880 Robertson Co Tx census; another dtr born @1873 Tx (no other info); and son Walter B Burt (below) born 26 Feb 1874 Hill Co Tx died 23 Feb 1920 Smith Co Tx - buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Tyler, Smith Co, Tx.
