Looking for information on Freeman Jones who is listed on the 1850, 1860 Federal censuses, and 1866 state census near Mt. Willing. Married Martha Ann Hanna. Died by or before 1872 when Martha Ann's dtr. Mary Eliza married Petillo Addison Leatherwood, son of Alexander Marion Leatherwood. P.A. Leatherwood took not only his new bride but her entire family (Water Freeman Jones, William Hanna Jones, and Alice Jones) back to TX with him. Would like to know his parents' names, where he is buried, etc. There were at least two other children who did not survive to adulthood. Will share any Jones/Leatherwood info I have, also pics. Thanks!
