Am seeking info on the Alexander Taylor who was a Justice of the Peace in Lowndes Co. One Alexander Taylor purchased land in Lowndes Co. in 1824, 1837 & 1840 but don't know if he is the same. Further, an Alexander Taylor was enumerated in the 1850 census in Butler Co., AL, but he cannot be the same as the one in Lowndes Co. because he was younger than the one in Lowndes Co.
