Researching great-great grandparents, Jeff Davis and Sarah Crum from Fostoria, Lowndes County, Alabama. Jeff and Sarah were the parents to two sons, Grover Cleveland Davis (aka Cleve), Jeff Anthony Davis (aka Buddy) and four daughters, Jessie Davis, Everlyner Davis, Emma Davis and Essie Bell Davis. After the death of Sarah Crum Davis, Jeff Davis remarried and his family moved from Lowndes County to Dallas County and settled for a short time in Selma, Alabama before he and his sons moved on to Pensacola, Florida. At least two of the children, Everlyner and Jeff Anthony Davis were raised by a woman named Sarah Dunkin in Fostoria. Grover Cleveland Davis married Henrietta Carson in Florida and adopted a son by the name of Jerry who was killed in WWII. Jeff Anthony Davis' second wife was named Lillian. All are deceased. Anyone else researching this line?
