Rex, thank you for this infomation. I will definately check out the 1900 census for Madison Co. Alabama to see if I can find him...I agree with you on the middle inital being recording wrong etc...as a matter of fact his father's name was Wyley, he was mistaken for Willie, and Millie, and his last name has been record as Myers/Mayers etc....in 1880 his widowed sister was hoh with her two sons and her mother and youngest brother and the last name was Myres...I thought it was a mis spelled version of Moyers but then his sister was listed as a widow, so did she marry a Moyers/Myers/Myres or what? The person giving the info or the taker could have mis understood that the mother and brother had a different last name than that of the hoh and her two sons...has happened before...but then I found her and one son in 1900 in Giles County, TN and the son's last name was Moyers. So did she marry a Moyers? questions, questions, questions??????
