My Powers family lived for a time in the western part of Limestone County. They later moved to Lauderdale County AL and I find some of the family were members of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in eastern Lauderdale. I was wondering if anyone knew of any Cumberland Presbyterian or plain Presbyterian churches in western Limestone that would have been around in the 1860's to 1880's. I thought I might be able to track down some mention of my Powers family name in some of their records. Also, what were the Methodist (or Methodist Episcopal) churches in that area at that time? Any help would be appreciated.
