Pat,
I, too, am looking for more light about my Welch ancestors in Lee County, AL.
Have you learned anything new? I know your posting was a long time ago.
My father is Willie James Welch, whose father was Willie Welch, whose father was called "Snow Welch", but we're unsure of his real name. I am wondering if they are possibly descended from William Welsh (Welch), b/c the date of birth is about right.

Let me know!

Angela (Welch) Spencer
