Thanks again for your help. I was in Opelika last month, but I wasn't thinking about this part of the family history. I stopped at the church where my great-grandparents are buried (Mt. Zion AME, on Hwy 29, just south of Beans Mill)to take some pictures. I decided to take 29N from Opelika to Fairfax, and saw the turn to Beulah. That jarred my memory about the family roots being somewhere in that part of Lee County and a church starting with Bu and Chapel in the name. Thanks again for your help.
