I am so glad to see some of you are thinking of DNA testing to help with your genealogy testing. There are still many Byars/Byers families in Lawrence Co. Ala. They are not all related. If you are a Byars/Byers male or have one in you lineage, please consider DNA testing. It will help you prove your lineage or help direct you in the direction your research should go. The Administer of project will help you in every way she can. There are so many tangles in these families that we will never be able to untangle them without using this wonderful technology. You may want to sponsor someone to help them with the expense of doing this. Please consider finding out about DNA testing.
