You are all invited to the 4th annual Genealogy Gathering on Sunday, November 4, 2007, 1:00 to 5:00 pm, at the ET Sims Jr. Neighborhood Facilities Building in Hamilton, Alabama.
If you wish, bring a dish or a non-alcoholic drink to add to the event potluck. Bring your Gedcom files, handwritten notes, and verbal stories to share! We will try to have a small flatbed scanner available to scan photographs, so be sure to bring those, too.
Descendants of George EMERSON and Esther ROBINSON, hosts of this event, especially invite families with connections in North Alabama, North Mississippi, and Southern Tennessee.
We believe that our ancestors, George EM*ERSON (variations include Emerson, Emberson, Emmerson, etc.) and Esther/Easther ROB*SON (variations include Robinson, Roberson, Robertson, etc.), came from Virginia/South Carolina through Tennessee and into Alabama. Various
branches or connections of this family also migrated to counties in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas.
