Saw your Nelson info and Capt John Graham.

Capt John Nelson b 1751-55 of Cumberland Co, NC fought with Capt John Graham under the "Swamp Fox" General Marion in SC.
John Nelson b Cumberland Co, NC now of Warren Co/ later part that became Coffee County, TN on 10/1/1832 at age 81 applied for pension was married to Lucy Hart b 1772 Chattam Co, NC d/o John Hart.
John Nelson may be son (not sure) of Ambross Nelson d 1799 Pittsylvania Co, VA, or he is another John.
Capt John Graham of Warren County age 73 residing on Barren Creek states he knew Nelson in SC during the war. My ancestor were from Warren Co, in 1813 removed to Lawrence Co, AL abt 1816 where a Capt John Graham died in 1825.
Widow Nelson applied for her pension on 10/23/1843 Coffee Co, TN where she resided past 14 years and home where John Nelson her husband resided when he died. Also kindred or friends who knew him in SC now in Warren Co, TN were Hugh O'Neil, and Alexander Grant.
I hope this helps someone sort out these relationships.
