Seeking information on the families of Nathan and Patience Cook, Matthew and Mary McCrary (McCreary), and Martha Cook Jordan. Martha was the daughter of Nathan and Patience Cook. She married a Mr. Jordan about 1845. After fathering two children (Sarah and Martha Jordan), I assume he died. Martha then married Mathew McCrary on January 31, 1854. With this man she had several children, and both the McCrary and the Cook family left Lawrence County Alabama and came to Little River (then Sevier) County Arkansas about 1859. Would really like to know more about the mysterious Mr. Jordan.
