William (Billy) Wallace of Lauderdale Co., AL

Hello....I am still looking for the death date of William (Billy) Wallace, born @1801 in VA. The last I know of him was seeing his signature on a Lauderdale Co., AL deed in 1887. He and his wife, Charlotte, signed this deed. I do not know when he died, nor when Charlotte died. I 'think' she may have left Lauderdale after his death. I do know that their son, Curtis Wallace, married in Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory on January 7, 1897. Curtis's sister, Ethel, married Joseph Alford about 1895, probably at the same place. Her first child was born there in 1896.
I know that Charlotte's name is on the same tombstone as William's in Romine Cemetery, but that was placed there only for identifying purposes. We really do not know when or where she died.
Is there anyone who has searched the courthouse records for anything on William Wallace? I would be most appreciative for any information whatsoever. William's son, Sampson Houston Wallace, is my husband's grandfather. Sampson Wallace came to Van Zandt Co., TX between 1894 and 1896.
Thank you very kindly,
Ruby Wallace of Texas
