Flynn/Flinn family in Lamar County

My g-grandfather, James Marcus Flinn was born in Lamar County, AL, in 1860. In 1880 he married Jerusha Otts. James had a brother, Bert Flinn, who was shot while serving time at Carbon Hills. This would probably have been in the 1880's. I am trying to find information on the parents of James Marcus Flinn. His mother's maiden name was Braun, but I do not know either of their first names. Any information is very much appreciated.
