Obit in Lamar Democrat May 28 1964

Funeral rites were held from Fellowship Baptist church Monday afternoon for the daughter of a Confederate veteran and one of Lamar Counties oldest citizens.
Mrs Sally Thomas Finch died Saturday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs Adaline Hankins on Rt 1 Sulligent. She would have celebrated her 95th birthday the 31st of May.
Rev James F McCullough, church pastor, officiated at the services assisted by Rev A L Warren and Rev W M Reeves. Brock's Brown Service of Vernon directed burial in the church cemetery.
Sruvivors include one son Richard Finch of Birmingham, four daughter, Mrs Adaline Hankins, Sulligent; Mrs Lethia Turner, Vernon; Mrs Elma Turner, Pell City; and Mrs Josie Hydrick, Corpus Christi TX; 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
