I don't know anything personal about him. He and Nancy had only one daughter, Milly. Nancy was several years older than John. I have heard my mother talk of them, when she was little. Mom has passed now so I can not ask her. My mother's father was a half brother to Nancy but he was like twenty or more years younger than her. Sorry I can't help more. John ran a grist mill in the Sipsey bottom, this is between Detroit Al and Aberdeen MS.
