Ruth Loggains Allison, 86, of Sulligent, died March 17, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Lamar County to the late Demp and Edna Earl Ray Loggains. She was a member of the Sulligent United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star and Ladies VFW Auxiliary. She was the widow of Wayne Allison.
Services were March 19 at the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel in Sulligent with burial in the Pope Cemetery.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Jo Loggains of Tupelo; one niece, Cindy Sparks and her sons, Sam and Taylor Sparks, all of Tupelo; and of host of other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Robbie Ray Fowler and Ruby Loggains; and one brother, Samuel Noah Loggains.
