There doesn't seem to be a connection.My Great Grandfather
was George Sims in Lamar co 1880 23 years old. His half bro.
was Henry T. Sims and was in Coleman Co. TX. 1880 census.
George's own brother Albert was a Carpenter and farmer and
at some time lived in Oklahoma. They had another brother named Billy Sims.And a cousin Dr. Billy Sims born in the 1830's prob.
