I am just starting to work on the McAdams family. My line is through John and Sarah Fields McAdams daughter Charlotte, who married Thomas T. Hardin. Their daughter Margaret Francis married John Henry Jordan in 1870. The Fields family is of interest to me, particularly if we can link to American Revolution patriot Nathaniel (1725 - 1777. On another note, from researching DAR records, I believe that we are related to the immigrant John McAdams who is also a Revolutionary War patriot.
