Todd family in Lamar Co., AL
Hi!
I am a descendant of the Todd family that moved to the old Moscow, now Sulligent area of Lamar Co. inthe 1870's.Family stories say that John Thomas Todd, died about 1860 in Paulding Co., GA.His wife, Lucinda Wilson was still in GA for the 1870 census.She moved on to Lamar Co. AL before 1880, with her children and sister-in-law Mary Todd.Her children were:
1.Mary Jane Todd,b. abt 1836, m. Newton W. Eubanks.
2.James Delevine Todd, b. about 1841, supposedly died in Indianana in 1866
3.Margaret Luevenia Todd, b. abt 1841, never married.
4.Zilla Agnes Todd, b. 1843 m. Mardis Morton,in 1875 and d. 1904 in Lamar Co.
5.Anest Caroline Todd, b. abt 1850, m. Robert Brewer
6.Lucy Ann Selena Todd, b. abt 1850, m. Thomas McGill
7.Jonathan Criswell Stokley Todd, b. 1849, m. Missouri Palestine Morris, 1875, they move on to Itawamba Co., MS abt. 1900....(this is my great grandparents)
8.Robert Lecil Todd, b. 1851 m. Eliza Edea Boman, 1882, d. 1923 in Lamar Co., AL
A cousin from Sulligent, Edna Earle Boman Sanders pubished a book about the Todd and other families a few years ago.I have a copy of that, but would like to add more descendent to these families, that we do not have.Anyone that is descended from this family, please send me the information you can, (names, birthdates, marriages, spouses, deaths, and where buried) of your brance of this family and I will share what I have with you.
