Jeff Co.-Wylam-Julius & Gertrude Hardin

I found an interesting item in Birmingham, Jefferson County. It is a small leather canoe about 4 inches long ( a keepsake from a vacation most likely) with the names Freck and Gert written on one side and on the other says MONTEVALLO 1935. Attached is a name tag that says Mr Julius Hardin JR. and an address from Wylam, AL. On the back of the nametag has the name Gertrude. But the best part of this is that there is a charm that goes on necklace with a familys picture in it. It is a recent picture not real old. I would love to find who the family is and who it belongs to. I was told that it was sold at an estate sale.
