I have been told that my gg-grandfather Isaac Alexander b. ca 1814 is listed on census of 1840 in Jefferson Co. AL. His wife was Mary B., and I think the B stood for Barber, possibly her maiden name. I am searching for their parents, siblings. In 1840 they had first child, Nancy. Other children, by the time they moved to Lafayette CO AR., in 1850 were William W., Mary, Jessee (my g-grandfather) and Isaac J.
