Do either of you have birth / death dates on these DAVIS/LOWERY??
I have DAVIS/LOWERY connection in Jefferson County.
Over 1200 names in DAVIS files, several families were in Shades Mountain area.
LOWERY's now that is another thing. Do you know who Ollie parents were?
I have a Joseph Lowery b. July 1878 in Alabama and he passed away in Jefferson or maybe St. Clair county during a Influenze epidemic around 1918 or 1919. He married Margaret WELDON who is buried at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church, Joseph is supoose to be there too. Two unmarked graves on either side of her. They had 8 children. Would help alot if I could find out who he's parents were. My grandfather was Melvin Lowery who married Lela Davis.
