Anyone have any information on a Jacob Thomas born 1830-1840 poss. Blount CO. Al. He married Manerva Byars b. 1835 Blount Co. Al. to John W. and Rebecca Byars. Jacob and Manerva had at least two daughters, Margaret and Malissa born before the Civil War. Margaret married a Freeman, then in Hot Springs Ark. she married James Wacaster. Malissa married John Harman in Arkansas.

Jacob died in the Civil War and after 1880 Blount Co. Ala. was taken, Manerva Thomas moved to Montgomery Co. Ark. with her daughters and 3 Freeman nephews.

The Byars families are found in Blount Co 1850, Jefferson Co. 1860, 1870 Limestone Co.
and then Tennessee and Arkansas.
Trying to find Jacob Thomas parents names.

THanks
Glenda
