Looking for the family of William Smith b.1821 and wife Mary b.1824. They moved to Jefferson county in 1853 and settled in the Shannon-Bluff Park area. Some of their children are buried in the Bluff Park Cem. They had 8 children:(1)Mary C. b.1848, (2)William M.,Jr. b.June 27,1849 d.Feb. 25,1925,(3) Violet A. b.1851, (4)James Alexander b.June 11,1853 d.Oct.27,1939 buried Bryan Cem. near Quinton,AL.,(5) Jane b.1854, (6)Andrew Jackson b.Nov.17,1857 d.Apr. 26,1924, (7)Sarah E. b.1859, (8)Jefferson Davis b.Sep. 7,1861 d.July 30,1924.
