The Old Elyton Cemetary is up on the westend
of Brimingham around Princeton Hospital.
Get on Bessemer Super Hwy turn onto Lomb Ave
when you get to Princeton Hospital turn left
on to Tuscaloosa Ave going toward the (Col.Mudd's old Plantation),known as the Arlington it's a house that was there before the Civil War,go past the old Veterans outlet
Thrift Store and its up there on the left next to some houses. I advise you not to go alone considering the location. This is in a very bad area of Birmingham and they have a lot of trouble up there. How I know where this is located is my Grandmother lived in Westend for years until she passed away and I also have family members buried there. My Family ancestors help build St Pauls Catholic church also the mayor of B'ham at one time.My Great Grandfather was from Elyton
Village which was really the first settlement
way before Birmingham was created,Go to the
B'ham Public Library look under the Camden Collection this is a very good resource of info to start with.

Sincerly YOurs,
Cathy
