I found Spencer H. Rodden m. to C. Turnar in Jefferson Co. AL in 1846 at Ancestry.com.
Looking for Turnars or Turners or Roddens or Rodens with family dating back to this time who may be able to help me with any clues. I would be happy to share and assist anyone with my gathered information. Unfortunately, I have only just discovered Spencer H. Rodden's second marriage. He was married at least once prior to Elizabeth Hill in 1821 in NC and had at least 1 child with her, Thomas Franklin Rodden. I have no idea what became of Elizabeth Hill Rodden, but I do know they moved to TN and back to NC after the birth of their child, Thomas. I am very curious to find descendants of Spencer H. Rodden and C. Turnar if at all possible. And like I said, ANY clues or suggestions from anyone on where to look would be much appreciated!
