Not related. Article in the Jefferson Co. Heritage Book on your Monroe Parker. His father and mother: William D Parker and Nancy (maiden name unknown) Monroe married 1st Sophia Masten in Cobden on March 15,1857. They had four children. One son and three daughter died in infancy, only one daughter (Kate) lived to reach adulthood. She married George Myers. Sophia died May 1867 and Monroe remarried Laura Ellen Wilkinson. Laura born Indiana on March 19, 1850. They married Sept 15, 1867 in Cobden, Ill. Their 1st child was born Ill. the rest born Alabama. Monroe and Laura had eight children. Monroe married 3rd Louisa Harriett Watkins March 3,1892 at Oak Grove in Jefferson County. There is more to this article, I just gave you some.
