He had a marriage occur at his "house?" between a W J Vines and M E Parker. Believed to be William Jonathan Vines and Mary Elizabeth Parker. Im hoping that he is a relative and hopefully the father of Mary Elizabeth Parker. If he is the father then Merry Martha Parker would also be a child of his. The marriage occured November 22, 1865; in Short Creek Jefferson Co. Alabama.
Mary Elizabeth Parker would have died about 1870 as after this is when we know that William J Vines married her sister Merry Martha Parker. Merry Martha Parker would have had to have died by Nov 1883 as this is when William J Vines married his third wife Amanda Louise Boyd Butler.
I need to find out more about the children of this family to place them in either Jefferson or Lawrence Co. Al.
