I am searching for info on Thomas Newton Jenkins that was born the 18th/ of July 1886 in Tuscaloosa Co.Al. He went to Birmingham Al looking for work and from the info that I have received he was able to get a job as Streetcar Conductor.
While he was working as a Streetcar Conductor he met a woman by the name of Ethel ? and she became smitten with him and soon afterwards they were married.
Can any one shed any light on these two people.
Thomas Newton Jenkins is or was my grandfather's brother.
I would like to know more about his life as a Street Car Conductor and what Ethel's surname was before she married.
Since we do not know much of nothing about these people and never got to know them, my husband and I would really like to know something more about this great uncle and his family.
Can anyone help ?
