I'm looking to find out if anyone knows what newspapers an obituary would have appeared in for the years 1948 and 1964?
Margaret Elliott Hobson died in 1948 in Jefferson Co., AL, possibly Warrior.
Howard Hobson (or William Howard Hobson) died in 1964 in Jefferson Co., AL, possibly Warrior.
They are both buried in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Corner, Jefferson County, Alabama.
Once upon a time my parents had a copy of Howard's obit and his picture was in it. The picture was torn apart so all you could see was his shirt. I've never seen a picture of my great grandfather Howard and would like to find the obituary. I know it isn't ideal, but it will have to do.
If someone can tell me the newspaper the obit may have been printed in, then I can write the library and ask them to copy it for me. (I don't live near Alabama).
I believe I have their exact death dates at home in my research so if someone would be willing to look them up for me, I can try to find the info.
I appreciate any help you can provide.
