I am so glad that you had a successful trip! I don't recognize any of these Hawkins, however, (it could be because I don't know a lot about the Hawkins family at this time) I had a great Aunt Irene Hawkins Gonzalez who was born in Birmingham about 1888. She and her husband, Richard "Dick" Gonzalez moved to Baytown, Texas when they became unable to take care of themselves, to be near her younger sister, Alice, who was a nurse. They are both buried in Texas.
I appreciate your effort. It is almost impossible to get any information from them. I will eventually go back to Birmingham and make sure that I go on a weekday when they have all of their staff there. If that cemetery lot is where they told me, it should have been much easier to find. Maybe someone there can point it out to me.
