Melba,

Lauret was born Lauret Mahalia Robbins, daughter of William Austin Robbins and Mahalath Cooke. From what I have noticed, Lauret named all her children after her brothers and sisters, as well as her father and John Chesser's father. I am in the process of sorting the Robbins family together. Mahalath was the daughter of Alexander Cooke and Lettice Cornelius. I am not sure, but I believe William Austin Robbins's father was named Levi.
